I absolutely need to see you again

“I absolutely need to see you again,” my pounding head revolts in the chaos of a sleepless night.

You need to catch the depth of this despair, 

which could only happen when my figure touches yours. 

I have been a refugee for too long, 

so long until the earth is spinning faster in my favor, 

for me to reach your celestial form. 

Have you ever wondered, for the briefest second, how alienated I am in this space?

Far from the temple I once worshiped in, 

The shelter I found comfort, 

The school I pursued my wild dreams. 

I am trapped in a world that is not mine,

lost in a language I can’t speak,

Among people who can’t seem to see me entirely.

I lose track of time until I plunge into madness,

my body falters,

world crumbles upon me. 

“I absolutely need to see you again”, I dare to say it once more

so you can catch the depth of my words,

And bring me back to where I belong.
